I agree they are disgusting and I haven't had one since I was student (circa 1848) but, for some reason, I had a craving. Odd.

That is strange.

I had beef fried noodles just now, which i had an ungovernable craving. It was delicious for the first bite and got steadly less tasty the more I had, halfway through i was sick of the sight, smell and taste of it.

This is called the law of diminishing marginal utility. When it reaches 0, you won't have more of it.

True story. I worked with a guy many years ago called Mark Peeker. He announced one day that he got engaged to his girlfriend, a lovely Japanese lady called Meka. They eventually married. She naturally took his last name. Seriously!
