| Stirring stuff - such a shame things did not progress. Have we ever had such a well-loved manager? Billy Nick is our greatest manager ever but in his time the focus of the crowd was on the players. This youtube clip shows how much BMJ had the support of the crowd................. but not the board. I still feel sad and even worse, don't hold out much hope that Ramos will last more than a season.

| Indeed. Loads of time for the bloke and ever grateful for what he brought to the club. In a league full of whingers like Wenger and Mourinho, Happygolucky crooks like Redknapp, and ranting ugly loons like Bruce, our BMJ was a manager to be proud of. Certainly, I'd question many of his decisions, particularly this season, but top man. | |

| that was a great clip. I also loved BMJ and nothing would have been better than to see him at WHL leading the team to glory. Superb person but I'm affraid that was also his weakness - too nice. All the successful managers are scumbags and maybe BMJ was too much of gentleman to make ruthless decisions on and off the pitch. Martin Jol will always be a Spurs legend and there are not many of our ex-mangaers you can say that off. | |

| I think he is a true Spurs fan. It is very sad to see him go but this is modern day football.
Robbert's status on the facebook is "Robbert Jol is a puppet in a play...good play, though !" | |

| I dunno. Thought he was planning a world trip a while ago. Hope he will take BMJ with him and make an appearance in HK! | |

| the thing about BMJ is that he would turn up and watch the match with us. That is why he is such a great man and the fans favourite. Imagine any other Prem manager even contemplating doing that? | |
