Judging by the response we have so far, I don't think it's worth hiring a mini-van etc. I can take 3 in my car and probably the rest can take minibus or a cab to Sai Kung and we'll meet there?

Jezza, you have the "home" advantage, can we entrust the programme of the day / night to you?

So far we have:
Ezza
Number 10 (no way Monika will go for it)
James (plus Ellen)
Dannyboy (maybe)
Jezza (plus mon)

It may be worth leaving it til another time.

Also, from my perspective, I have no idea how I will be able to get home from Sai Kung, other than a 2 hour journey via town, so I am a touch concerned about the practicality of it. My only chance would be if James could drop me at the KCR in Sha Tin or somewhere before it shuts down (about 1am i think) then I could get to Tai Wo and grab a cab.

Well, I hate to mention it, but when we discussed the Sai Kung Road trip a few weeks ago we agreed Sunday November 25th as its 9.30pm kick off. Although its a Sunday the early kick off might suit people better.

That means no one will be at Delaney's this Sat, right?

You are right Baz. We raised this point in another thread and at Delaney's on Sunday. I have in fact put this date into my diary. We can still do it but we probably need another poll!

Guys, actually I think it may be more practical to go to Sean's place after our SIHK game on Sunday. It's relatively close from Kowloon Tong to Sai Kung and I guarantee that a car ride of about 20 mins will see us there. Whoever interested go can hop in my car or a cab and we can have a drink there and probably dinner afterwards. The downside is that the Spurs game won't be on that night.

As a combined pair of 10 and G on the sidelines, with Danny rallying the troops on the field, we can't fail!

Sundays aren't good for me, it's the only day I get to spend with the kids during the rugby season as I have to work Saturdays, so it'll be a family day for me, not a SiHK day.

chill out James, trying organise this lot is like trying to pull teeth. It's a thankless task with little or no reward. Much like supporting Spurs really.

Well that's a shame as I for one was looking forward to Sai Kung this Saturday. I know what will happen on 25th Nov. Though it's an earlier kick off people won't be able to make it cos it still finishes too late for a school night. At least with Saturday it doesn't tend to matter too much what time we call it a day.

Oh well, I'll go with the flow. Are people going to watch the earlier kick off between Arsenal and Man Utd. I'd imagine the bars will be packed.
