| Following on from the 'Cup of tea' thread, I'd like to put forward your common ginger biscuit as your best dunking biscuit. The tea gives the ginger more kick and the biscuit itself is made of sturdy stuff. It won't just flop into the tea after a 3 second soak, oh no my friend, it sucks it in like Fenwick's best and coats the inside of your throat with it's gorgeous ginger slime. Therefore, ginger is best.
What's your fav?And FFS sake don't say digestive, that's wrong on so many levels, I'd have to tear you a new one. Capeche?

| Shortbread biscuits - the sugary topping finds its way into the tea or coffee, and the sturdy biscuit almost never collapses into the cup. And the resultant goo helps me regress all the way back to my gnawing on a rusk days. | |

| I'm on Digestive tip right now. A great all rounder with something for all of the family. It's banality makes it a timeless classic that has stood the test of time. It's very much the Steed of biscuits - it does something well just not sure what it is.
Hats off to Mr Digestive

| Rich Tea biscuits are little devils, though, aren't they? You dunk them and for a few seconds they don't appear to be absorbing any of your tea/coffee, the next moment they're so soggy that they collapse into the depths of the cup as you try and lift them up - timing is critical and to be honest I can't be bothered with that level of precision and as a result I rarely dunk Rich Teas these days. Maybe it's an age thing? | |

| I have to echo Mr Cat's call for Ginger biccies! The best! Biscuits as Spurs players? the Jammy Dodger - Spoiler:
Adel Taraabt - Looks exciting but fails to live up to expectations.
the Rich Tea - Spoiler:
Teemu Tainio - chuck 'im in anywhere and he'll do a job, but unspectacularly. And won't last long before breaking down.
the Fig Roll - Spoiler:
Tommy Huddlestone - seems to have plenty about him but it's heavy going to get all the way through
the Jaffa Cake - Spoiler:
the spurs midfield - seem to look elegant and impressive, but a very soft centre.

| It's gotta be Tim Tams for me - bite off a bit at each end and then suck your tea or coffee through it. Heaven in a biscuit. | |

FANS PELT TELLY PERV AT FOOTIE - The Sun What you need to know: 1) Chris Langham was pelted with boiled sweets when he went to see Arsenal play last weekend. 2) Fellow Gunners fans jeered: "We know where you sit" as the Thick of It actor watched Arsenal beat Wigan Athletic 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium. 3) Langham was attending the match having won early release from a ten-month sentence for downloading child porn.

| I think as a rule, Spurs players take the biscuit. I thank you, I'm here all week, try the fish. | |
