| TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR defender Lee Young-pyo is wanted by a trio of Italian clubs.
The South Korean international nearly joined Rome last summer but changed his mind at the last minute, with Torino and Udinese now showing an interest.
Following the signing of Gareth Bale and with Benoiut Assou-Ekotto already at the club, Martin Jol could be ready to let the left-back move to Serie A.

| Letting Lee go would be a big mistake. I always rate Lee - always consistent and provides a very good option on the left. I know he always gets criticised by his lack of end-product, but I challenge anyone who can tell me who in our team can regularly deliver accurate crosses? Don't think there is anyone capable of doing that since Ginola to be honest. | |

| Isn't that down to Bale now? And Petrov when he signs? | |

| Lee took a while to settle, however last season he was in some fans eyes the most improved player ( doesn't mean the best player ! ) | |

| I like Lee. Pretty solid and a good squad player. Wouldn't really want to see him leave | |

| Not a good idea to see Lee go. If not 1st choice, he's good cover.
After all, our left sided 'apprentices ' are much, much less inexperienced.
Hope it's not true. | |

| in my opinion, I think that Bale could be made as a left winger as he runs fast and got good kick. Lee could play either left or right, so he would be a useful substitute for Spurs, it is stupid for Jol to sell him so early | |

| Lee has been with us for two seasons so it wouldn't be a rush decision BUT I agree we should keep him. He has got better with each game, he has stopped doing the cutting in run as much and he is the hardest working man in Tottenham. Squad player maybe but he could also start every game in my opinion. | |

| the only pro to sell Lee maybe his age (30) and seeing as he has been with us for 2 years, maybe this might be the only window for us to sell him and get a few million for him (not sure how long his original contract was for) - especially if the club has faith that Benoit can remain injury free and more consistent as a back up assuming that Bale is likely to walk-in as first choice left back. | |

| We did agree a fee last summer with some Italian club ( Parma ? ) but Lee decided to turn em down.
You could be right Paul about the decision behind trying to sell him. Shame though, I'd be happy for Lee to stay 2 years and run out his contract.
