HELP!!!

Anyone know how to say 'my toilet is leaking and flooding out the bathroom' in Cantonese?!!!!!!!

Not exactly, I'm good at swear-words though!

So a little Chinese man just came round to 'fix' the toilet- talked at me in Cantonese for about 20 minutes fiddled around with the loo and left.

Its now not leaking. Hurrah. It also doesn't flush. Way to go little Chinese man!!

toilet ='chi sor'
is leaking ='lau shui'
floodig out= 'chum jor'
bathroom= 'chi sor'

'all gor chi sor lau shui, chum jor gor chi sor'

nice one Sam. Really, mandarin is a lot easier looking at that. I take it 'all' is me and 'gor' is the possesive measure word?

Danile, you are absolutely right. Actually, I claim the grammer of Chinese is easier than English, but the words of Chinese are more difficult than English. We don't have tense, conditional sentence, time phrase....

simple explanation
I = 'ngoh'

1) My = 'ngoh ge' (eg. 'ngoh ge' pencil = my pencil)
2) It belongs to me = 'ngoh ge' (eg, This pencil belongs to whom? It belongs to me = 'ngoh ge'
'ge' is a slang, can not be used in writing. In writing, we use 'dict'. It becomes 'ngoh dict' hope it can help

Sam, I agree with you. Chinese is easier to structure but the words are a nightmare to learn. I have lots of profane language I will explain to you when we next meet...I need some in Mandarin in exchange
