United are asking 6m. His 26yrs. Apparently his preference is to join Spurs. Are we wrong to dismiss him ? I like Smith - superb workrate. Not expensive at 6m.
Any thoughts ?

I'd say he's still got a fair bit to offer and 6m compared to Bents 16 seems a snitch. Wouldn't grumble at that signing especially if we can offload Mido for something similar

Glad someone thinks the same. I'm very surprised we're not moving to sign him at that price. We're asking 6m for Mido. Smith is significantly better. Sign him as a fourth striker if necessary.
