Catching the Spammers

OK, in order to give us something to play for and care about for the remainder of the season, the target must be: catch the Wet Spammers!

We're three points behind with much better goal difference, so we need one more win than them to sneak above them and into the top half and shut their bubble-blowing gobs!

It is absolutely positively essential that we catch and overhaul the Spammers as I stand to win $2250. I have a mate, well ok, an acquaintance who's a Spammer, and every season we bet $1000 on who finishes highest in the league. We also bet $500 on each game, with $250 going to the away team for the draw.

This season we upped the stakes on $500 for who got furthest in the Cups.

At the moment I'm $1250 up, BUT if the Spammers stay above us I'll win a paltry $250 (because of Defoe's last minute penalty shocker at the Ten Pin Boelyn Ground).

So everyone pray to their respective Gods for me.

For the record I have taken a shitload of cash off him in recent seasons!!!!!

Yeah, it could end up that way Ezza. Realistically, we need to win away at Wigan this weekend to be able to catch them.

I don't fancy our chances given Wigan's confidence booster away to the Chavs last night. They only need another win to stay up. Smart money would be on Wigan as half our guys have got their speedos and sun cream on already.

I really hope Sunderland win today or we could face the embarrassment of the Barcodes overtaking us!
