Tal Ben Haim is on the verge of ending his Chelsea nightmare by sealing a summer move to Tottenham. The controversial Chelsea defender's career at Stamford Bridge is over and Tottenham manager Juande Ramos believes he has landed his man.
Ben Haim, 26, has made just 17 starts for Chelsea since joining the club from Bolton on a free transfer at the end of last season and has been a frustrated onlooker in recent weeks.

Chelsea will allow the Israeli international to leave at the end of the season and he expects to complete a move to White Hart Lane over the summer.
Spurs have several options at the centre of their defence, but there remain long term doubts over the future of Ledley King.
Although Jonathan Woodgate's move from Middlesbrough has been a success, Michael Dawson's future at Spurs is also under threat.

This would be a very smart signing.

I can't really see it coming off unfortunately, but I'd LAAAAAAAAV it to happen.

At 26, he'd be great addition for our CD. Not surprised, but gutted, when Chel$KI signed him.
