| Anyone been there recently? Thinking of taking the Mrs out for some beans on toast then a punch in the knickers. | |

| Yeah been there lots for drinks but not beans and toast - my dates aren't as sophisticated as you!!!
You definitely need to book a table for dinner - ask for one by the window.
And the live band starts at 10pm and is REALLY loud but good......
What a sweet hubby you are!!!!!

| Had lunch there a couple months ago. Make a reservation for a window view. Food, ambience and service is good. | |

| Hey BC, I wasn't particularly impressed with Opia when I went for dinner last year. Service was poor, portions tiny and very expensive. Not particualrly good value.
My favourite restaurant at the moment is Aspasia. 1st floor of the Luxe Hotel in TST. Kimberley Street (right by Knutsford Terrace). It's Italian/Asian fusion. Pricey, but the service is excellent and food delicious. Great value for special occassions.

I've just called them and informed them you want a bottle of the 1999 Dom Perignon open and on ice ready for when you enter.

| Review....
Well it was okay..decor very nice, table by window, but (and this is going to sound strange for hk) there was too much space between us and the next table. When they left we were by ourselves and the place lost some of its vibe. Waiters were fine, maybe a little too attentive. Food was okay, not a huge menu selection and a little bit overpriced for my liking. All in all, I think there are better, more affordable places in hk. (This coming from someone who is moving to Vancouver Island where the nearest place to eat will either be a truckstop or a dead deer by the road.)

Haven't been there, but with so many other places to choose from, think I'll easily give it a miss. There may be some mileage in this restaurant review business...
