i reckon the current shirt looks much classier without the "go faster" add-on stripes.

Find it a bit strange there is no special stitching for the CC Champions 2007 either.

Am I the only one who thinks that our kits do not look intimidating at all? It looks weak...

Apparently that is the new home kit, and the fact that it's made the internet has almost certainly cost someone their job. Spurscommunity took it down as soon as it went up, what say ye here?

I much prefer the classic clean lines of this years' shirt. I won't be buying it for sure.

Supporters will be able to take a look at the new kits tonight (Tuesday) via a special freeview web broadcast on Spurs TV Online.

The new Home kit will be launched and available to purchase in store on Saturday, May 10, 2008. The Away and Third kits will be available to pre-order from May 7, 2008.

For the home kit launch the Spurs Megastore and printing shop will be open on Saturday May 10 from Midnight (Friday night/Saturday morning) to 3am and then from 9.30am to 5.30pm.

Every supporter that attends the launch event and purchases a kit will be able to enjoy the following special attractions:

• The Tunnel Walk – Supporters will be issued with a ticket to experience the Tunnel Walk. You will able to take a tour through the tunnel area and have a look at the home team dressing room at White Hart Lane and get Juande Ramos’ view of White Hart Lane from the technical area. (Open Midnight to 2.15am and 9.30am to 4.15pm)

• A photo opportunity with the Carling Cup - bring your cameras along as you can have your photo taken with the Carling Cup that will be on display in our Press Lounge.

• Get your chance to lead out the teams at the Liverpool game on Sunday May 11 - everyone who comes along can enter the draw to win the amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity in front of a packed White Hart Lane! The winner will be contacted on Saturday after the store closes at 5.30pm so everyone who enters must be ready in case they are the lucky winner on Sunday!

• The football activity zone - this will be up and running on Saturday May 10 from 9.30am to 4.30pm. At the end of the tunnel walk you can have a go in the Spurs Roadshow inflatable games and test your skills. The Tottenham Hotspur coaches will be on hand to give budding young footballers tips on improving their game and there will be prizes up for grabs for the top scorers!

Launched on Tuesday night at The Imagination Gallery in London’s West End, the new kits were modelled by three of the squad’s senior players, Robbie Keane, Jermaine Jenas and Jonathan Woodgate. The trio were also joined by some of the Club’s brightest young talent - Troy Archibald-Henville, Danny Rose and Tomas Pekhart.

The home kit marks a return to our traditional colours with a white shirt, dark blue shorts and blue and white hooped socks.

The authentic home shirt itself features a revolutionary double layer construction. The inner layer is especially designed to lift moisture away from the skin. The second layer then transports the moisture to the outside of the shirt to effectively keep the player cool and dry. PUMA’s unique ‘Kold Fusion’ technology is used to join the anatomically shaped panels together to create a stitch-less football shirt.

The replica home shirt, (featuring styling from the authentic shirt but using a single-layer fabric construction) will go on sale at the Club’s Megastore in Tottenham High Road on Friday evening at midnight. One fan, chosen at random, will be given the opportunity to lead the teams out onto the pitch the following Sunday when we take on Liverpool at White Hart Lane.

Not only will all the fans at the midnight opening be amongst the first in the world to own the new shirt but they will also have the opportunity to visit the home dressing room, walk down the tunnel at White Hart Lane and have their photo taken with the Carling Cup.

The away shirt also uses a single-layer fabric construction but of a different material to the replica home shirt. It appears, along with shorts and socks, in light blue.

Exclusive to Spurs, the black/white/gold combination that makes up the third strip is a tribute to the iconic PUMA KING football boot which is marking the 40th year since it was first worn by Eusebio.

The senior squad will wear the new home kit for the last game of the season against Liverpool on Sunday.

Just as last year, the Club is revealing all three kits at the same time, allowing fans to review all three kits before deciding which to buy. Sales of last year’s kits broke all Club records and PUMA replica kits continue to be popular amongst fans.

The logo of the Club’s sponsor MANSION appears in Mandarin Chinese script on the away and the third kit.

Tottenham Hotspur Executive Director, Paul Barber said: "Developing a series of kits to rival last year’s phenomenally successful 125 range was never going to be easy. Alongside PUMA however, we feel that this range not only provides the squad with latest and necessary kit technology to compete at the highest levels, but also captures the essence of the Spurs brand."

PUMA UK’s Head of Sport, Richard Callaway said: “We have worked extremely closely with the Club in developing a really strong and exciting new range of Tottenham Hotspur kits.

The new home jersey incorporates PUMA’s latest technologies, and the 3rd kit takes its inspiration from the iconic King range. We believe that everyone involved with the Club will be proud to wear the new kits.”

Pretty much confirms Berba won't be at the Lane come August. I'd be very happy to see Pekhart involved more in the first team squad next season. Looks like he could do with a square meal though.

The home kit and the third kit are an improvement to this year's.

I don't like the away (sky blue) one though.

Have brought all 3 , over 120 quid invested , hope this will be contributed to the Keep Berbs At Spurs Fund .

I think I'm going to go for the black shirt, the shorts and socks and this seasons white top as I don't have one. By the way I STILL have your two seaons old white top. I have used it about 20 times now...
