A lot of young people in that poll - Robbie Keane at number two on the scary list? Do me a favour. No player beyond about the mid-80s - nah, hardly representative I'm afraid.

I think the poll is limited to the period since Premiership started.

Steed is my dark horse (no pun intended) to be The Most Improved Player and a revelation for Spurs this season. He was outstandingly good playing in his favoured RM position in SA and after Bent, was my man of the match.

Shame he got injured after his transfer from Fulham and could not start playing again until mid-way through the season. This plus the fact that Lennon was, at times, awesome and we were short out on the Left, had knobbled his potential at Spurs...

But thankfully, the Steed looks like he's back to his best now with more than a few doubters to prove wrong.....

Mostly right side.

Hairy - on his day, superb, however too inconsistent. Mind you, it doesn't help Jol playing him out of position.

Anyway, he has got the talent to prove you right, so here's hoping.
