MARTIN JOL has outlined his plans for Tottenham Hotspur for the upcoming Premiership campaign.
The Spurs boss expects his side to qualify for European football once again and is looking to continue building his squad so the club can compete for the Premiership title in the next two or three seasons.
"My hopes for next season are to compete for Europe again," Jol told the Sunday Mirror.
"Liverpool, Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal have got probably got more resources than us, but it's not only about money.
"We've got younger players, hopefully we've got the vision and we want to compete for prizes in the cups.
"We want to be in Europe and we want to do well there, but we have to be in the top six to be in Europe.
"And hopefully, if we can get players like Dimitar Berbatov, if we can have the likes of Tom Huddlestone, Aaron Lennon, Michael Dawson develop into star players, we can go even further. My dream is to compete for the title in the next two to three years.
"Overall I feel we did, of course, better than the year before.
"I feel that we were more solid the year before last. This year we scored goals, but we are not the finished article."
