Reggina have signed Emil Hallfredsson just weeks after the Iceland international joined Lyn Oslo.
The midfielder ended an unsuccessful stint at Tottenham Hotspur to sign a three-and-a-half year contract with Lyn earlier in July.
But he has now agreed a four-year deal to move to Italy with Reggina and admits the offer was too good to refuse.
"When the opportunity to play in Serie A came, it was, of course, a tempting offer," Hallfredsson told Lyn's official website.
The Norwegian club had no qualms in selling the winger to Reggina, despite only recently concluding their own deal for Hallfredsson.
Lyn director Torgeir Bjarmann said: "It is a very good deal for all parties. We are pleased."
Reggina have confirmed the deal is in place, with Hallfredsson due in Italy on Monday to undergo a medical.
