The second goal was absolutely awful, it looked like he was running through treacle as he tried to track Capaca.
SUch a shame, I love Dawson as a defender. In the season when we just missed out on 4th place, 2005/6, he was superb, the reason why we won a lot of games 1-0. He got hsi ehad on everything that came into the box. In fact, I used to think that if a jumbo jet flew into the box he'd head that away too!

Dawson is a broken man. He is superb but I think he cannot do the job of 4 players anymore. Plus that fat flapping northern liability in the nets has probably shot his nerves to pieces.

When we signed Dawson and Fat Reid from Nott Forest, everyone thought Reid was the real deal. Turned out that Dawson made his debut against Liverpool immediately and hasn't looked back since. Two seasons ago (and possibly last season as well) he played superbly and arguably our player of the season alongside Berbs. Yes, he made mistakes against Newcash, but hopefully he will bounce back like Robinson...oh wait....
