Ok, we have now had so many late withdrawals that we are down to 11 players confirmed, and no back-ups or maybes!
If you have a guest player, please let me know and bring him along!

5pm at Hang Seng Bank in Tai Wo Hau MTR
Cab to Shing Mun Valley Sports Ground (no later than 515 - don't be late)

Edman, Kinson and Savio are travelling direct by car.
I am coming in on westrail so will meet at the stadium
Paul is travelling direct?
Danny, Hairy, Linesmann, Barrylineker, Jez and Sam meeting at Tai Wo Hau

Directions:

MTR to Tai Wo Hau (red line)

From TST - 12 stops along red line
From Central - Take orange line from Hong Kong station for 4 stops, change to red line at Lai King for 3 more stops

(Warning - it's not Tai Wo. It's Tai Wo Hau, West NT)

Once again we have no goalie. Since we're a small squad, if any less fit players fancy a half in goal that would help!
Perhaps Edman can do the other half, as he's such a great keeper!

I'm still a maybe as I'm having to play it by ear today. I'll try to make it, even as a spectator and I am definitely going to Delaney's.

What's the playing surface ? Grass, artificial. carpet.

Aye yes, i see it now. Doesn't mention about the state of the pitch. Is there adequate grass coverage ? Low level of weeds ? Flat ? Good drainage ? What is the grass cutting height ?

We need more info. sihkfc is a professional outfit.

Damn and damnations - I have been invited to dinner by two young and attractive ladies. I thought our game was in Happy Valley and now I realise it's out in the sticks somewhere. What to do lah? Dinner with two young ladies or watch a bunch of sweaty old men with beer guts running around for 90 mins. It's a toughie but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. See you guys in Delaneys,hopefully with aforementioned young ladies in tow! They have never watched a football match before but I am hoping the hospitality of the SiHK community will make a good impression on them. They are on the lookout for young, handsome men to lead them astray (clearly that leaves me well and truly out of the equation) but I'm sure Hairy and co. will make a lasting impression on them. Good luck in your game chaps - I'll be thinking of you (not) while I'm sipping a good glass of merlot and wondering whether to order the Porterhouse Steak of the Chateaubriand.

That pitch is not bad, not cover by sand, but of course you can not expect there are any good condition grass pitch in Hong Kong. See you.

I'm really sorry boys, I'm a late pull-out. I've got to meet the people at the bar i'm hiring for my 30th at 7pm to discuss what's happening so i just can't play.

Following appallingly late pull-outs by Nick and Janek, the beers should be on them tonight!

For future reference, don't tell someone they will be in goal UNTIL they have turned up at the pitch.

If that's his real reason for not coming, it's hardly very much in the spirit of SihK is it?
