Sevens Tournament

Hi Guys

Anyone going to sevens tornament on 24/25 May , if so can you adv will be in Hk from 22/05 . Coys

Although I've noticed they've changed Australian U20 team to Australian Institute of Sport

How can we find out who's playing (I mean which players, not the teams, eg Beardsley and so on) ?

Beardlsey, Warren Barton and Dave Beasant amongst others will be on one Masters Team.

Rangers Masters will have Gordon Durie, Mark Walters, Ian Ferguson, John Brown and Andy Goram.

Last year Marseilles Allstars had: Manu Amoros (82 caps for France), Philippe Vercuysee ( World Cup Semi Finalist 1986) and Pascal Vahirua (22 Caps for France)

Southampton Veterans:
Players the likes of David Howells, Ian Baird and Rod Wallace and Matt Le Tiss.

Not sure about the young teams nor other Masters

I'm finding it hard to get excited about this tournament. Then I saw Ruel Fox's name and that was the final nail in the coffin for me.

I'm giving my liver a rest for a few weeks.

To be fair, the Masters Teams last year weren't that exciting either.

I, for one, am quite pleased to see Ruel Fox there as I remember going to watch his debut vs Nott's Forest awhile back.

Him and David Howells (who i'm guessing returns with Southampton Vets) could be the beginning of a Spurs Team...

Just Dave McEwan, David Kerslake, Espen Baardsen, Dean Austin, Justin Edinburgh missing...

Dannyboy - do you get free tix for this? There's normally masses of freebies going around. Last year was the first year I had to pay. If yes, can you chuck one in my direction.

It's only $200 for the whole weekend ticket, and if someone feels the need to go in to the players stand for autographs/photos they can borrow my staff pass for a while.

Indeed that much sort after Ruel Fox autograph will be mine!

Now, for some of you cynics this might not sound like something worth forking out cash for but friday night is FREE! Might be good banter!
