| Gents,
The footy sevens starts tonight and is free entry. Who's up for going along to watch two hours or so of footy and sink some sun-downer beers, before heading back to LKF?

| Can't attend the soccer 7's. I'm attending the CX focus group discussion tonight.
Might be able to hock up afterwards.

| Ok, Jez - hopefully see you a bit later - 9ish?
Cam and Danny (and anyone else who's in) - shall we grab a cab down there from Central or meet at the football club?

| So that's where our Youf have gone this year instead of HK... Our Academy squad has travelled to France to complete a busy final month of the season in the 'Tournoi International de Football de Talence' in Talence. It's the fourth big European tournament the lads have entered this season and they cross the channel with a fine record - wins in the Eurofoot, Belgium and Monthey, Switzerland and a runners-up spot in Dusseldorf. Their final action of the season is a two-day Under-18 tournament played on Saturday and Sunday and the lads are in Pool B alongside Poznan, Alcala, Lorient, Toulouse and Monaco. We play every team once in the group in 40-minute matches. The other group consists of Chaves, BK Haken, Valcea, Tournai, Talence and Marseille. Coach Alex Inglethorpe indicated that he intended to use the full squad and said: "It's a heavy schedule over two days, potentially six or seven games and a big ask at the end of the season but the lads' approach to tournaments this season has been excellent." Squad: Sol Asajile, Yuri Berchiche, Calum Butcher, Mark Clare, Sam Cox, James Dalton, Kyle Fraser-Allen, Daniel Hutchins, David Hutton, Oscar Jansson, Yaser Kasim, Ryan Mason, Takura Mtandari, Jonathan Obika, Alex Olsen, Dean Parrett, Ajet Shehu, Adam Smith, Andros Townsend. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/articles/ladsinfrance230508.html | |
