How long will you lot be there, a couple of hours before you move on, or do you prefer to move around a few bars? Just need to know as probs won't make it there auntil after 8pm.

It's towards the top of Di Aguilar Street in the Lan Kwai Fong area, which is the main bar area in Central District. You can't miss it. It's opposite another bar called 'Bar George'.

I should be at Al's between 6.30pm to 7pm.... Apart from Ian and Jeremy I dont think I have met many of the remaining crowd .. hopefully there is huge SPURS sign that is assigned to the table

A good night then, was it?

I had no intention of going, had a load of work and no money for booze. I then got a call from some family friends who were in Hong Kong, Simon university friend of my dad and his son Robin who invited me out for dinner. However turns out what they really wanted to see was LKF , after going for a quite drink to chat on our way to get something to eat we were hijacked by SiHK at AL's diner as we walked past, with Jez not taking no for an answer and thrusting a pint into mine and Robin's hands!

Turns out Robin is a bit useful on the pitch, and left-footed and has expressed an interest in playing for SiHK FC next weekend so that'll help with the numbers. Thanks particularly to Jez n Hairy for being so friendly to Robin and Simon by the way, really went out of your way cheers.

Left Al's around midnight. Decided to pop down Wan Chai for a burger on the way home ( honest !).

Went on a mini trip down memory lane, venturing in to that dungeon which use be called Big Apple. Hasn't changed much !!

Left just before 2am, got on a mini bus, fell asleep but as luck would have it woke up EXACTLY as it stopped in my village. Phew !

Gonna hit the beach today and sweat out all that alcohol.

Superb night out. Good to meet a couple of new faces.

.....and yes, Hairy did turn up.

My head hurts!

Feel a bit rough today and I even turned down one of Twiglet's black sambuca's. Those things are very dangerous for me. Although I can handle my booze well, certain 'shots' pretty much instantly turn me into a raving looney tunes!

Anyway, excellent evening and good singing. I am sure that the tourists and sailors in LKF could not understand what we were singing about. I think the local expats had heard it before though!

Yes, Hairy did show up - but very late! Baz was there, as was Kevin and Janek, Ian G, Spur'Don, Twiglet, James (before he had to go and play football) and brief appearances by Danny Boy!

Twiglet, thanks for being a great host as usual and looking forward to the next one. Now where's my panadol???

p.s. Just been told by a mate that Liverpool lost last night and a stadium packed with local Liverpool fans was absolutely gutted - hahahahaha!!!

Yup, they dominated the game and couldn't score - Calamity James only had one mad moment but the rest of the evening was unbeatable. Portsmouth 4-2 on penalties after two hours of goalless stalemate. Pretty competitive game though, they did the EPL proud.
