Will probably wander over to Al's a 630. Gonna have a cheeky pint near the office first. Hairy is away on holiday

| So it's just me, Baz, Number 10 and Ezza, plus Harvey at Al's, with Spur'don poping by??
I'll be there at 6.15-6.30 ish, but have to head down to Wanchai before 8.00 chaps (have to pay some knob a cheque for routers and firewalls!).
See you later.

| I still don't think people have thought the evening through - our game is 8-9.30pm, the Spurs game starts at 2pm in England, or 9pm here, so best case scenario is we get to watch teh second half only, assuming we get back to Delaney's quickly. Unless Delaney's can record it for us? | |

| GDG - exactly what I pointed out in at least two posts... but no-one seemed to get it... I wrote to Now y;day as well, no response from them surprise surprise...
HOWEVER... I have just checked on NOW.... they have indeed changed their scheduling to 9pm for the Spurs game... probably due to my mail.
Not sure what the consensus will be... but I would like to suggest we ask Sam soldiers for a 50 min game so we maybe only miss the first 10 mins of the game...

| Or we accept that it's a friendly, enjoy our game, catch the second half and drink lots of beer, all in preparation for the big game next week. | |

| I would tend to agree with Paul's suggestion. We have a pretty big squad and I expect they will too, so let's play 50 or 60 mins with no half time and rush to the pub in taxis. | |

| See above, I think if Sam's Soldiers want to play the whole game we should honour our commitment - we are their guests and we agreed to the match before we discovered the time of the Spurs game, so we should do the right thing by them.
Of course if they have adequate numbers to entertain themselves in a 7-a-side game for the last 30-40 minutes and are happy to do so, all well and good.

| It's too hot to play too much football. Get yer arse down to Delaney's for some beers and catch the game. Ive emailed my list (bit late in the day though) and asked them to get down the pub as well. We can have a few beers, watch the game and then prepare for Sunderland v Spurs next week! YID ARMY !!!!! I already asked Delaney's to reserve 3-4 tables for SIHK. If people start pulling out, I may as well plonk myself at the bar with the sad old gits!! Stew. | |
