| No not soccer violence (I prefer to use the word 'football' as oppossed to soccer).
Just a couple of Man Utd fans at one end of the bar who I didn't know (I think Twiglet knows one of them) who was apparently giving the middle finger or wank sign to one of my mates after Manure scored. Obviously my friend took exception to it and had a go at them. I went over and asked them what did they do and they denied any worng doing. A moment later they did the same thing (I wasn't looking in their direction at the time), so it got a bit nastier.
Situ was made worse by the fact thay had to walk past our group to leave the bar. My Man Utd mates at the other end of the bar were very well behaved (almost silent) and they agreed that those other blokes were asking for trouble by their behaviour.
Nothing to worry about though.
By the way, I am not a hoolie. I did go to games with some hoolies in the old days, but that was a long time ago.

| Stew, this is going to happen in Delaneys a lot because it attracts tourists. If we move from Wan Chai this risk is reduced.
I am not pointing the finger at anyone but it sends shivers down my spine when I read about agro. I hate it at matches and don't want the same atmosphere with SiHK. Of course 50 pissed up yids will attract some kind of problem form time to time but I worry that people that have just found us will have the wrong idea as to what SiHK is about.

Daniel, I take your point but I don't think that the location had anything to do with the incident (which should not be blown out of proportion). To be honest it could of happened anywhere. For the past few seasons we've had very little incidents if any in that location. SiHK's reputation shall remain intact, but let's not get too carried away with these sorts of things. Ive seen a lot worse in pubs and at football grounds as well. Stew.

| I just want to avoid a reputation that's all. Still, lets see what happens. Whichever way you look at it 50 drunk yids in Wan Chai will always attract something | |

| Just thought i'd throw in my 2 pence as well.
From what I saw, there was a bit of argy-bargy and one gentleman did seem particularly narked at something or other. The members of SiHK (Hairy, Twig and Stew) all acted in an exemplary fashion and were key to cooling down any nonsense which was pretty minor anyway.
Rather than ruining our reputation, i'd laud the aforementioned members actions in cutting off any trouble before anything got out of hand.
Have to say there was one obnoxious git in the back who, although we'd been having some banter with, broke into a crude rendition of "Spurs are on their way to Auchwitz" which i was particularly apalled by. However there's always one dick, wherever you go I suppose.

| Haven't spoken to the two mancs since yesterday but they both venomously denied any wrong doing last night so its a tough one for me to call. Things obviously can get a bit heated and tense in these situations so sometimes its inevitable it will spill over a little. Nothing major. Personally I dont agree with any type of football violence or violence provocation, especially in a pub in Hong Kong ffs - except if its Ar$enil and those fuckers should know better than be within 500 yards of us when we're in full swing | |

| Remember the lone gooner in Mcsorleys last year when Jenas popped up with the equaliser, me and Hairy giving him a right mouthful (wahey!!) but it was all in good fun, seeing as he was sat with a couple of Yids.
Harve, you're right about trouble in bars in HK but in LKF everything is a little more restrained, having worked Wanchai for the last 5 years, and in a sports bar to boot I've seen a multitude of dickheads come through the doors of Skitz, and like it or not Delaney's attracts them aswell.
Anyway, well done in keeping up our good name.

| Can I just add, your be pleased to know there was no trouble in my flat last night. The wife is currently on a tour in BKK so I was on my own......but that's not the point. It was a trouble free evening. | |

| I knew one of you would come back with that reply.
I would say yes but the H/H is terrible - ends at 7pm. Spoken to the land lady - no chance of a discount either.
A load of rubbish - lets try somewhere else, eh ?

Mmmmmm.......stop it Jezza, stop putting ideas into people heads !!! 1st up has gotta be a trip to WHL Preferably with 2 games in hand (UEFA and League). I'm going to check those cheaper air fares for around $4,000... we can either break up and stay with neighbouring friends/family, or better still, organize some reasonably priced accommodation.
