| Cracking atmosphere last night. Great turnout. Thought Delaneys did a good job. Hope everyone was happy with the arrangements. To me it truly felt like our home in HK. Need to convince the management to put up some Spurs stuff on the wall permanently :-) Also pleased to see we welcomed the single gooner in a friendly manner and gave the claret and blue east London pikey some good-natured stick. When we eventually start getting the right results, Delaneys will rock. | |

| The atmosphere was superb. Helps that its not a large venue. Right size for generating noise. | |

| It felt great in there, f@ck me, when we scored I loved it. Trying to imagine what it would of been like if we'd won. Maybe next time. | |

The quality of the projector screen is deteriorating ... in a faster pace than I expected. To be honest, I am not happy with that.

Yes, one of the bulbs seems to be on the way out. The picture was crap.

| Hung - what was the general consensus amongst the hkspurs group ? Did they enjoy Delaney's. Will they come again ?
Anyone got any decent photos?

| Yes it was an excellent atomsphere. Particularly that a lot of us stayed on after the match and still had a sing.
Picture was indeed awful, but surely they can fix that easily enough. Projectors are not that expensive these days.

Anyone got any decent photos? be honest, i was upset about the delaney's arrangement last night. as i remember, clare promised that they will reserve the place for our private function. but as we can see, there are some tables which clearly didn't belong to both of our groups. i guess at least they should placed some notices (The White Party) at the entrance. secondly, did they say that they will place some chairs (20??) in the front? the result was that we had to ask and ask those waiters and initially they respond that there were no more chair!! then i don't know who talked with their senior and then they got some chairs from the thai restaurant.. well, i fully understand that it is impossible to get eveyone a seat, but as an event organizer, we need to show our members that we have some organizing abilities. at least, delaney's has to keep their words. about the projector, it sucks at all. looks like no one know how to switch to the correct channel. also, they have to check their air-conditioner too. next time, could delaney's designate a contact person to cope with us? looks like we don't know who could help us last night.. in terms of atomosphere, undoubtedly it is the best. some of our members did show positive feedback but there are many things we have to improve.

When I arrived at 6.30 there were tables and chairs reserved for the HK Spurs lads and ladettes. It was never ever going to be a private function and others have the right to come along. At least 20 chairs and a fair number of stools were saved for HK Spurs. I think you need to bear in mind that sitting down is not common in western style pubs and I reckon Claire and co did a very good job reaching a compromise to accommodate both sets of fans. Not sure what the fuss was about the channel. He got there in the end and we didn't miss anything. Aircon? Ok it was warmish but far better than freezing your bollocks off as is usually the case in HK. I prefer hot and sweaty personally - makes for a memorable evening. The projector - NEEDS TO BE UPGRADED Service - was fine. I'm sure Claire and co would love it if more drinks were bought by all those there. Gundam....... you have provided honest personal feedback but, to be honest, the only one that I think needs to be addressed soonish is the projector. All the others are ones that are part and parcel of watching a game in a pub with atmosphere. I thought the balance last night was good. Most of those who wanted to sit, could sit, and those of us who wanted the terrace effect, got what we wanted. And remember, it was NOT a private function. If people want seats, the onus is on them is to get there early. I can see Claire's position - in previous years we have promised to bring large numbers and failed to do so. This year she 'kicked out' the Mancs for us and thank god we turned up in force. Imagine how it would have been if our numbers had been down. So now we have more leverage. How many will come next Sunday? Finally, if we had won last night I'm sure everyone would have been happy with Delaneys - sitting or standing.

| Bear in mind that I don't work at Delaney's and am no longer a shareholder!! Anyway yes, things can be improved on but bear in mind a few things : 1). Delaney's has no way of know which people coming in are Tottenham fans and therefore cannot screen people. The plan was ot occupy the location with our fans - which we achieved at about 90-95%, which is overall very good. 2). They went out of their way to relocate the Man Utd fans (and taking some flack for it) for us on a day when the downstairs bar was bursting at the seams for the Rugby matches. Yesterday was an unusually jam-packed sporting day for many people. 3). The aircon wasn't good true, but no matter whether they have it on full blast or not, when you have that many squeezed into a bar, it's bound to be hotter than normal. 4). Will mention the projector to them again, but it didn't appear that bad to me. However I normally watch the plasma screen. I'm still pissed off with the result, plus I had to take a verbal pop at a psuedo Arse fan last night who was gloating to a Manure mate after the 2nd goal, plus I had to do PR with the Chelsea afterwards (which wasn't that bad), plus I have to work today as well! Later, Stew. | |

| Personally I had a brilliant evening (except for the result of course) thought the atmosphere was brilliant was actually pleased to see a gooner there and even more pleased with the welcome he got!!! (spoke to him after the game and he thanked us for the hospitality). Great effort lads, here's to the next match and hopefully some well needed points!! | |

| It's fun joining you guys for the first time - I was the dude sitting in front near the bar on the armchair. Atmosphere's great - well, the projector isn't state of the art but as long as we can see the ball and people running around, who cares. What counts is we all share a good laugh - and most often, tears these days - good beer, and a good evening out with all the spurs lads in hk. that's all it matters. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Hopefully next time the result's a more favorable one. | |

I will tag myself in the photos once Mr Senior Citizen uploaded his to his facebook (only joking John) and you can tag yourself. Facebook is the business nowadays! Look forward to seeing you more often in future games!

Thought Delaney's was a great venue. How many did we get in there ? 40 -50 ? As John said, it would be nice to hang up some permanent SIHK momento's to make it feel even more homely. Despite not particularly liking the idea of being a "toursity bar", we do have the benefit of putting on a good show for "our guests" and spread the Holiness ... Claire must be asked to have the projector serviced and/or replaced. It's knackered.

| I reckon over a hundred. I attempted a headcount during the first half. There were 40-50 in front of me, and probably that many behind. | |

| I would say there was about 100 Spurs fans in there on Sat.
Yet again, there are several more Spurs fans in HK that were not there that evening, so you can imagine if we ever get to a cup final - how many bodies will pile in !
