Tottenham boss Juande Ramos is ready to spend big to land Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas. Spanish newspaper El Mundo reports today that Spurs have drawn up a financial package for Casillas worth £4million-a-year and are prepared to make the Spaniard the second most expensive keeper in the game with a bid of £25 million.

Is Carrick returning so daft ? Perhaps it's just wishful thinking on my part.

Wishful thinking, I think. Not gonna happen, it was merely a retort to the "Carrick urges Berba to move to ManU" story from the day before, hopefully started by someone within Spurs.
