A date for the diary - the draws for the Round of 32 and Round of 16 of the UEFA Cup will take place on Friday December 21.
The draws are alongside the draw for the knock-out stages of the Champions League in Nyon, Switzerland. The UEFA Cup draws are due to start at 1pm CET (noon, UK).
The Round of 32 will see UEFA Cup group winners taking on teams finishing third while teams finishing in second place in the groups will take on the eight teams coming down from the Champions League. Group winners and runners-up will play the second leg at home. Teams from the same association cannot be drawn against each other.
We will know our final position in the group following the last round of matches on December 19, when Getafe take on Anderlecht and Hapoel Tel Aviv face Aalborg.

I think that by March we'll be in form to beat any of those sides. However, I suppose the two to avoid would be Werder Bremen and Benfica.

At least it will be more fun than playing bloody Sporting Braga or other nobody teams!

I can't imagine PSV would be an easy game either. Let's hope Getafe and Anderlecht draw and we don't have to play any of 'em.

hat would be much the better solution! If only we didn't have that stupid loss to Getafe, we'd be fine.

Btw, I see on a few ITK titbits on Spurs Community that Ramos has already lined up a centre half and a midfielder to sign right at the beginning of January, Commolli and Levy have released the funds and it all looks set to be sorted early on in the window, rather than waiting until the end like we always do.Let's hope they're not cup-tied for the UEFA.

Also, such a shame to see West Ham lose in the 88th minute to Everton last night in the League Cup QF. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! Laughing

Portsmouth away record this season has been awesome this season. Their home record are not as good, so there! I reckon a 3-2 victory for Spurs!
