Mido to Fulham

Tottenham striker Mido insists he has not agreed terms to join London rivals Fulham.

The Egypt international is tipped to leave White Hart Lane over the summer after a difficult past season with the club.

After impressing during an 18-month loan spell from Roma, Mido scored just once in 12 Premier League appearances upon completing a £4.5million switch.

During January's transfer window he was on the brink of joining Manchester City before ultimately seeing out the season with Spurs.

He has now been linked with a move to Fulham as new boss Lawrie Sanchez looks to improve the Craven Cottage attack.

But, speaking to Al-Beit Beitak television show in Egypt over the weekend, Mido confirmed he had not agreed a deal to join The Cottagers.

The 24-year-old also admitted that he is waiting for Thaksin Shinawatra to complete his takeover of Manchester City and appoint a new manager to see if there is a chance of an Eastlands move being resurrected.

Reports have also suggested that Spurs have offered Mido to Portsmouth, with Harry Redknapp looking to sign two new strikers.

Mido lost some of his effectiveness after losing weight. Odd !

Usually it's the other way around. He was a useful asset during his loan spell. Not sure what went wrong. Perhaps his lack of class became apparent when compared to Berbatov ??

I reckon if someone with Photoshop has a play with this smileys afro we could make him look like Chris Hughton and then we'd have the perfect smiley patnership

If we can get anything for Mido we should sell him. He's a big, cumbersome, overweight, grumpy lardy and should not be playing for a top team in the Premier League.
