Have read where Portsmouth are possiblt going to transfer list Mendes , liked him as a player did not understand why we let him go in the first place , would like to see him return . Over to you guys for comment . Coys

wasn't THAT good - can't even get into the pompey team - ok he scored vs Man U, but what else did he really do that was memorable apart from be a makeweight in the transfer back of that flop postiga

from my understand Jol didn't want to sell el pedro. Always one of our better players in my opinion and with some lovely balls...

I rate The Pirate. He certainly gives us more stability and passing options than Zokora or TT. So would be a good addition to the squad, but not the solution to the midfield problems. Never seen his balls so can't comment.

He's quality player , could hold a regular starting in some PL team

Agree. He was just okay. A quick fix to replace the aging midfield of Poyet, Ziege, Redknapp and Anderton which nearly sent us down.

We've moved on. He isn't good enough for a team challenging honours in the top 6. That's why he can't get into the Pompey team and no surprise they wish to sell him.

If he stays in UK he will join a club like Sunderland, Bolton or Reading.
