AJAX are confident that Wesley Sneijder will remain at the club despite being linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.
Spurs and Valencia are said to have had two bids rejected for the versatile Dutch midfielder, but Ajax chairman John Jakke is hopeful that Sneijder will still be at the club next season.
Jakke told RTV Noord-Holland: "As things look now, Sneijder stays with Ajax
"The contact that we have had with him points towards him staying in Amsterdam. We will do everything we can to make that happen."
