Curtis Davies to Spurs?

The Mirror is reporting that we're in talks to sign Curtis Davies for GBP8m from West Brom.

I see Ledley is out for the first two months of the season. If King is only going to play 25 games next year then we probably do need better back-up to Dawson and Kaboul than Gardener and Rocha.

Thoughts?

you can never have too many defenders in the squad... take the games towards the end of the season with gardner/rocha playing left back and tainio right back... that cost us points/further progress in cups

And Chelsea lost the league over Christmas when they had no centre backs. Bring him in, I say, I have little confidence in Ledders making a prolonged run of games.

The only concern with Davies is he has broken the bone in his foot 3 times, twice last season.

Agree. Bring Curtis (Mayfield) Davies in I say. Forget about Leds until Jan.
