| ahead of Saturdays game and by some way of a release, what is your very favourite 'terrace' song? I think mine is 'It's a Grand Old Team'...lot's of up's and downs and nice big WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO in the middle and a nice 'f*ck the other teams' sentiment to boot.
I think another is the We Are Tottenham but seeing as we nicked off Millwall I think it doesn't make my top spot. Of recent times I have to say the Sol, Sol... one always makes me smile although it a very bad and wrong thing to sing. Wash my mouth out. What is yours?

| My favourite is, of course, the slow version of "oh when the spurs". Also like a bit of "glory glory hallelujah" and the modern one of "we all dream of a team of robbie keanes".
The pure simplicity of "Campbell, you're a c*nt" or the one to Viduka of "you're just a fat aussie w*nker" also appeal.
As an odd chant, I remember a good few years ago in the late 1980s and early 90s the fans singing the old east end song, "oh what do you wanna make those eyes at me for"? Anyone else remember this? I think the alst time I heard it was at Oreint when we beat them 1-0 in the FA Cup, in 2001 I think, Doherty scored a header in the last minute.

| Has to be " My old man said be an Arsenal fan, I said ......"
There are some clever football chants. I have to admit, Arsenal's song for Sylvain Wiltord was amusing. " Your Sylvain, you probably think this song is about you. Your Sylvain. "
Saw Spurs lose to Sheff Wed 3-0 back in 98. After Di Canio scored Sheff Wed started signing D. I. Canio to the tune of D.I.S.C.O.
WBA had a centre back called Bernt Haas. To the tune of Our House, Madness - " Bernt Haas...in the centre of defence, Bernt Haas.

| I was at WHL 3 seasons ago to watch Spurs play Man Utd. I think it was Rio Ferdinand last game before starting his 8 month ban.
Witty chant of " You should have pissed in the bottle, pissed in the bottle. You should have pissed in the bottle. "
Made me larf.
Agree about the slow " Oh When the Spurs " chant. Do like that.
Pity spurs don't have a decent theme tune though. Glory Glory Hallelujah is a bit so so for me.
Who has the best tune ? "Your never walk alone" is pretty good. Stoke have Delilah.....Man City - Blue Moon.....Palace " Glad All Over "

| I was immediately thinking of the Ferdinand one too, Spurd'on!
Witty and original songs are best.
Slow 'Oh when the Spurs...' has to be top though.

I do remember it indeed and we used to sing it religiously at the Two Brewers in Scotland Green, near Bruce Grove. I know all the lyrics.....I'll spare you the details now but remind me to do a rendition tonight. Top shout Janek....retro song!
