Sorry to be a party pooper but we are not going to win the Wafer, we are not going to finish in a UEFA Cup spot and there is a good chance that Chelski will beat us in the Carling Cup.

This is a transitional season, we knew it would be when BMJ left us and we were at the foot of the table!

The football is flowing nicely, the team is fitter and the back is tighter now. Ramos knows how to win that trophy and we may even pull off a victory against the overrated Chelski in the Carling Cup.

Not sure about winning the WAFER, but it's certainly not beyond the realms of possibility. Whatever the outcome of the three competitions, I think we'll put in a good account of ourselves, with respectable finishes on all three fronts.

Having taken 4 points out of the Cheatski and Pompey games, a reasonable finish is still on the cards. A bunch of very winnable games approach and the performance in our last two suggests that we may follow last season's climax and finish with a bang, not a whimper.
