Sihkos!

Who is up for the Barcodes match this sunday?
If my calculations are correct, British Summer Time comes in on the day, so it'll be a more sociable 10pm kick-off.

1 - In for Delaneys?
2 - Score prediction?

Will be in Bangkok after 10 days in Surfers Paradise, so I won't be there in body but will be there in spirit. Hope you're all well - currently in Changi airport en route from Brisbane to HK before jumping on yet another bloody plane to BKK. Hairy, what's your excuse for logging on at 5.23am?

Qoute from Kevin Keegan in this weekend's pre-match press conference...

"I often go to him or Michael, the experienced players and say, 'Is the traing too hard today'? or, 'Do you want to do more'? "

Laughing

What a joke !?!?!?!!?

Gawd almighty, KK reminds me of an English version of Martin Jol. Rolling Eyes

I can't IMAGINE Lord Ramos allowing that brand of sickening, consequetting of the players ego's on HIS coaching pitch !

On yee wei MAN ! !!

Think I'll revise my prediction and increase our goal difference to 3, or possibly even a 4 - nil splendid victory for Spurs at WHL tonight.

Looking forward to catching up with you guys tonight!

CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM cheers

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON cheers

Worst 45 minute display I can remember from Spurs this season.

4 - 1 loss to the barcodes at Home is an embarressment. We ain't going to keep Berba with those performances. Him and Bent got ziltch supply in the second half.

Tarabat gifted them a goal AND every single ball that was passed to him. Can't remember O'Hara completing a single good pass last night and who the hell, took responsibility for THAT wall ?!?!?

Thought Tainio created a bit more than zok in building up offensive play from the back.

Deserves a fresh look at next week, to see how he's been developing with the new coaching regime. TT is a more than decent and cultured footballer, but Holy Moses unlucky with injuries.

We Should have taken our chances much better in the 1st half and seal another win today. ... well, maybe that's what the players were thnking when they came back on the pitch for the 2nd half ! !!

I didn't expect my 3 / 4 goal vibe to be Against !

Can't understand it. No

Fellow yids

Total agreement with Jason , very poor effort allround , 1st half ok but 2nd half total Crap . Not what i expected thought game would be tough as Necastle needed points badly , but not a 4 to 1 loss at home . And we have Blackburn away next week . Coys

we played like shit - obviously giving away a goal on the stroke of half time is the ultimate confidence booster for the opposition but the second half performance was truly shocking. Only Hutton comes out with any credit from that one. Robbo made a couple of great saves, but lost the plot with organising his wall with the free kick. Taarabt shouldn't be anywhere near the first team squad - the double substitution of jimmy and john was exciting when it happened, but offered absolutely nothing on the pitch. Woody and Daws made some bad errors. O'Hara is not a left back, and taking Steed off was suicidal - Newcash's right wing was a free channel. Don't get me started on the 4-3-3 formation. As for keeping Berba - what did he do?

Classic random washboard quote "Up your Butt" - several times when Nicky Butt made a tackle. There was various other random verbals coming from behind me during the game - but at least the candle sticks didn't come out this time.

Lets turn off the lights and close the door on this season. If the players play like that in the rest of the games then whats the point of playing the 'first team' players. Put in the young reserves.

Looking on the bright side, I think at least we now know:
- New goalkeeper is a must, Robbo can still make great saves but i think he has lost the defence - hence the lack of organisation for the wall
- We need another experienced centre half, george has all the entusiasm but keeps on being found out and Jesus is human after all and does make mistakes
- Hutton is class - one of the best signings for ages.
- Jamie OHara is not a left back! I think at best he is an eager midfield player that we runs his legs off when required
- We need a central commanding midfield player, Huddlestone, Jenas, Zakora are just not up to mark required to be a top team
- Bent and Keane can't play together. They continued to go for the same balls in the first half
- 3 strikers doesnt work - one needs to drop back into midfield and none of our strikers can do that
- It would not be a disaster if Berbs leaves as long as we use the money to get another top class striker. Its games like last nights that shows that he will never be a world beater regardless of how much skill he has.
- Lennon's confidence is shot. He needs to be moved on
- Taarabt is a show pony with the ability of doing a few tricks and nothing else.

I'm looking forward to the clear-out.

Yid Brothers .

This kind of result may be the norm for the rest of the season , already in Europe next year , no fear of relegation , just treading water hope Ramos reads riot act and gets players a more positive attitude after all the supporters are paying good money , not to be treated like they where today . Hairy has summed it up already, but I would totally second his comments. The second half performance was nothing short of a disgrace.

We could talk about lack of supply from midfield, but any footballer knows that in a 4-3-3, the forwards need to come looking for the ball not just stand on the centrebacks. Berbatov was utterly anonymous and touched the ball once in the second half. Keano also did nothing. Ironically Bent was the only player looking like a threat.

Credit to Hutton and Steed but that's all.

A shambolic joke of a performance and I trust Ramos will be having harsh words with certain 'players' and letting them know they're out the club if they don't buck up their ideas.

yours furiously
