THFC Funds

Based on our significant increase (in an already generous) expenditure on players over the past couple of years, I reckon there's no alternative but see major changes this summer.

Here are my estimates:-

Kaboul - Pompey - 7M
Robbo - Boro - 6.5M
Chimbo - 3M
Ant - 2.5M
Rocha 0.5M
Salty - 1.5M

Sub-total of Sales = 21M.

Obviously if Berba goes, we'd be looking at another 30M. Bent may be off-loaded too. I think he deserves another season to prove himself first, however, 12M should see us get most of our money back (the balance I understand was based on nos performances, England squad, CL qualification, etc etc).

I'd love us to sign a couple of the players we've been linked and as early as possible. We may yet persuade Berbatov to player just one more season .. and yes, a Ronaldinho or two of the likes would be ideal.

Time for the trades to begin. I reckon Levy will deliver a couple of nice surprises that will smother our squabbling.

I agree. Whilst it's ridiculously far-fetched to imagine Ronaldino etc, I still think we'll pull off a couple of major signings this summer.
