So what about it then? A trip to Seans or curry and any pub in LKF (Dublin Jack??) for the final. And who to support?? If C*%tballs is playing, then it has to be the sheep shaggers.

Apologies guys. Mum & Dad run our of steam after a long day out yesterday and I had to stay home and (try) be a good son.

I won't be able to make next weekend's FA Cup Final either... I'm taking my Dad to Xian. Anyone been there?

Yep, nice place. Good street markets, terracotta warriors, bell towers and much more.

I think I'll give this a miss, maybe watch at home. Now the season's over, it's time for more quality time with the mrs, methinks.

Occasional mid-week or Friday beers could have potential, but I may take it easy over coming weekends and will be away for much of June.

Similar thoughts to James. I'm looking forward to a few football free weeks before the Euros. And of course the usual ITK, gossip, rumour borrox.

For what it's worth I reckon the remaining big three games will be won by Portsmouth, Rangers, Chelsea. Obviously, Italy for Euro 2008!

Back to Blighty mainly. My best mate is getting married and I'm organising a stag night in Munich to start things off, then chilling out (read: writing dissertation) in England til the actual wedding.

Ideal scenario:

Judas scores an own goal and then has another breakdown and is stretchered off, never to be seen again. cheers

The Welsh then go 2-0 up and start singing anti-England songs and getting a bit carried away. Rolling Eyes

Portsmouth then mount a second half come-back with goals from Pedro Mendes cheers , Sean Davis cheers and Noe Pamarot cheers . Defoe spotted in the crowd wearing a Spurs shirt. cheers

Rupert Lowe spotted in the crowd muttering about his two favourite teams winning the two domestic cups this year. tongue

Portsmouth win, singing 'shit Welsh southampton, you're just a shit Welsh southampton'.

Mendes lifts the trophy and in the post-match interview announces he's rejoining Spurs and bringing Sully Muntari with him. cheers In the background, Judas is pushed away in a wheelchair, drooling and having developed a full-on Redknapp twitch. lol!

Yep, that's pretty much how I want it to pan out.

Granted Judas is a total and utter crunt, and I wish the flees of a thousand camels would infest his arsehole. BUT.........has anyone given thought to the terrible prospect of Cardiff's neanderthals marauding through Europe? They are scum, worse than Worst Spam's pikeys. They would ruin the, ahem, good name of Britain's supporters in Europe.

I really do not want either of these teams to win. Therefore I'm not watching. In an ideal world the Sheep Shaggers would win the cup and then Uefa not premitting them entry into the Uefa Cup simply for being Welsh. W*nkers!

Have they sorted that out then? I thought that they can't qualify for Europe via the English FA Cup because they are Welsh and this spot must go to an English team! they would have to win the league of wales cup to qualify!

...If that makes sense, bloody sheep shaggers!

They have sorted it out and they can qualify.

I suppose one silver lining is that if Portsmouth are in the UEFA Cup, their league form will inevitably suffer. As they are one of the teams that we will be competing with for a top 6 place, this can only be good.

I miss the FA Cup finals when I was a kid. I remember we used to have street parties in my part of London. Everyone would wear rosettes, we'd shake our fists at the Zeppelins that droned on above us, the coal man would come with his horse and cart, cor blimey guvnor, there goes Mary Poppins, give us half a crown misse! etc etc ad infinitum
