| Yes, but this fantasy league should be different to the prediction league Stew is hosting. Let's get both done! | |

| There's a bloke that plays football at Cathay Pacific that runs an H.K. based league but it's done on spreadsheet (not the web).
The downside is that whoever wins, has to donate their winnings to a charity of his choice. I can ask him about a Spurs in HK Fantasy League though, but I get the feeling it's one big league. I have the samples on spreadsheet at hand.
I personally don't enjoy fantasy leagues (too much time and thinking required). I of course luv my prediction league stuff though!

| Stew - Im a big fan of charity as much as the next man but if you win and you have to donate your 'winnings' to a charity of 'his' choice?? Well theres no point of having winnings really. Just ask for a donation and have done with it.
Does that sound cold? | |

| I totally agree with you both, but I guess this guy is operating strictly within local laws. I guess you could do your own side pools, but I will check again what his charges are under that scenario.
A mate of mine introduced this guy to me, as he thought he may be doing 'prediction leagues' but when I emailed him, he was doing pure fantasy leagues only and suggested a cross-promotion.
As you know, my market is for pure predictions on actual EPL games. I am of the general opinion that most people that do fantasy leagues prefer that and would not generally do prediction leagues (and vice versa), but there must be some over-lap etc.
Also he is not web based and therefore not 'commercial' at this moment. Having said the above, his spreadsheet based stuff looks good. I think he's written in his own calculation formulas.
We are doing a simple banner exchange anyway. He adds our contacts/logo to his emails and we give him a small banner on our 'links' page.
Cheers,
Stew. | |

| We've had some of the Old Bill playing our prediction leagues before!
What people in this town are more concerned about is the Jockey Club though. Mind you, providing you are not offering your own book or odds, you are generally safe in any type of football prediction or fantasy league games etc.

Still looking for a couple of extra Spurs fans so as to make the number up to at least 10 pundits (players). So far the Spurs in HK Precition League has the following confirmed they want to play : Stew Twiglet James Spur'don OzSpur Hairy IanG GDG Need a few more to make it interesting (competitive) ... Any takers? Only $100 a head for the whole season and the winner get's a trophy plus bragging rights (and maybe a beer from the losers). Stew. | |
