There's the huge admin cost of running the site.

A lot more expensive than this one I'm afraid. Software development costs for the past year have gone over HK$200,000. It's all to do with complex database programming and setting the system up in php5, plus servers, bandwidth, firewalls etc.

The admin costs are barely a fraction of what it costs to run a site like shameless plug.

I selecting players from any team. I'm also in another league (work) which I won last year so I can't risk losing by restricting who I can sign.

Wasn't the no chelsea / arsenal rule a bit tongue n cheek ? I hate West Ham more than chelsea anyway !!! Are we going to ban players from all London clubs ? Hate Man Utd too.

Personally I won't use Gooners in my team, as I don't want to be quietly happy with their defender scoring earning me 8 points or something. Having said that, it is understandable if you need a scum or two to compete in other leagues (work etc) so with a mini league like ours, I think we can relax this ' No gooners rule' as well.

do the subs in FF get points if they score or do they have to start the game to accumulate points?

Daniel, the subs only play if the any of the starting eleven doesn't start the game. If you starting eleven all play, then the subs won't score you points
