| Another hike will take place this Sunday. Not sure where yet, but should involve some walking, some swimming in the sea and some drinking.
This is likely to be the last one for a bit as the weather is getting too hot, so come along and get involved.
YankeeYid - don't forget the head torches for the night hike...

| Has potential, depending on time. Have a footy match at about 630. If i can hike before that, then I'm probably in. | |

| Looks like the hike on Sunday will be the Dragon's Back. We will meet in Central around 12:30/1pm and get to the start of the walk by cab or public transport (depending on numbers). The walk takes around 4 hours and is one of the most famous in HK. We will finish in Big Wave Bay, have a swim and a couple of beers there, then head to Shek O for some food, probably Thai.
Here is some info on the hike - http://www.hkoutdoors.com/resources-for-hk-places/dragon-back-resources.html
Post up here if you're in. So far, we've got:
Me Ozspur Spur'd On (probable) Mrs Spur'd On (probable) ETP (possible) No 10 (possible)

| Me and Mrs Yeung are tentatively in. Much will depend on whether the clients can settle their case tomorrow. If not, I might have to work on Sunday to get some witness statements done by Monday. | |

| Right, my suggestion for this one is to meet at Shau Kei Wan MTR station at 1pm. From there we can catch the bus to the start of the hike. It's a very easy hike with just a bit of a climb at the start. It's also one of HK's most beautiful walks. It should take us about 3 hours or so to get to Big Wave Beach where we can stop for a swim and a few tinnies on the beach. Might even bring a frisbee along for those of us with energy left to burn. From there we can jump in a cab and head to the Thai restaurant at Shek O for some good nosh and a few more beers.
I'll ask Chrstine and her nursing mates if they want to come along. You'll never know when you'll need nursing assistance, do ya Jez :-)

| Sam may come if he knows nurses and teachers are coming! I am now 30/70. Got a monthly family luncheon at 12 noon in Hung Hom. Will confirm in/out tomorrow. What is the weather forecast for Sunday? | |

| I am probably up for this, along with Gaz.
I'd actually prefer tomorrow (saturday) rather than Sunday. Is that possible or rocking the boat too much?
Jez, I trust your hangover isn't gonna dissuade you from going out this evening?

| Afraid I can't do Saturday as I'm playing touch rugby. If you don't mind No.10, I think Sundays are better for hikes, nice way to end the week.
Let's stick with John's plan to meet at 1pm on Sunday. If the weather is terrible, check the site on Sunday morning and John/Jezza/I will stick something up to confirm if it is on or not.

| Of course, mate. Certainly don't wanna rock the boat, as I say. Just throwing the possibility out there. | |

| At the moment the hike is looking okay. If the weather stays as it was today it should be fine. However, any ideas what can take it's place if we are forced to cancel ? How about bowling ? | |

| A superb day. The weather was perfect for a hike, although the low cloud cover did spoil the view along Dragon Back.
Well done to Ozspur for taking the wrong path. You can mock a man with his map but see what happens when the leader goes on instinct alone. It doesn't happen on Sai Kung hikes.
Number 10 - it was two votes to Superman, 2 to Spiderman and 1 for Batman. Batman doesn't even make the play offs.
