Hello mate. I'm in town from L.A. for the Derby game. Would be great to meet up for a * few * ales with you lads for the Derby game. A mate of mine and I run the L.A. Spurs Supporters Club (www.laspurs.com).

What time is the game on? Any ideas of a venue yet?

Derby game is a 3pm kick off on Saturday - so 10pm HK... going by past seasons there have been either 2 or 3 games shown at the same time (occassionally we can get an extra game via South African Satellite)...and there are a total of 6 3pm kick offs to compete with for airtime that day. Looking at the list I'd say there is a reasonable chance we'll be on - but not guaranteed... plus the local provider of the EPL has changed to NOW this season and I'm not aware of how many games they will be showing at the same time.

Birmingham v West Ham, 15:00
Blackburn v Arsenal, 15:00
Fulham v Middlesbro', 15:00
Newcastle v Aston Villa, 17:15
Portsmouth v Bolton, 12:45
Reading v Everton, 15:00
Tottenham v Derby, 15:00
Wigan v Sunderland, 15:00

LA Yiddo - I suggest u watch this space after the 11th to see a) if there is an update that the game is on the TV here and b) see if our gathering on the 11th - presumably in Delaney's Wan Chai - is a success or not, if not we may be watching it at a gay sauna.

I will do mate, thanks. I'll have fingers crossed it's on. 10pm's fantastic!!! I'm too used to 7am in the morning for 3pm games in the UK. Don't even ask about 12pm games :oS

Always good for people to have a contact point if they're looking for stuff overseas, and if you've read even a few threads in here you will have seen that they are rather a sociable crowd For which read "drunks"), who no doubt would go out of their way to entertain visiting Spurs fans.

Was thinking of exactly the same thing mate. I'll have a word with Kate (our web wizardess) and see if she can add another link on the site. We don't even pop up on Google so the only way anyone knows we're out there is by links from other sites Very Happy

Its my understanding that nowtv have added 3 extra sports channels to their mega sports pack. This is so they have extra channels for the Premier League games which play simultaneously. If this is the case then I would say nearly ALL of the spurs games will be on TV this year.

I think only 3 channels (max) will show the EPL. The other channels will show other sports.

Yeah, normally they will - but for the 2 hours on a Saturday the footies on.....

The other night I saw they had a Sky 1/2 hour weekly preview of EPL shown on Now Sports 1. The same one they use to show on Cable tv.

We've been up and running for the last year or so but finally got the site sorted about 8 months ago. I know the lads in New York well, in fact I'm hitting to Miami for a weekend on the sauce with them in October Very Happy
