As reported in the Mirror, the Daily Mail and the Guardian:

Juande Ramos is considering loaning out Spurs' blunder defender Younes Kaboul.

The French centre-half, 21, has made a string of terrible errors which has left his confidence shattered and his future at Tottenham in doubt.

It has also turned up the pressure on sporting director Damien Comolli who recommended Kaboul's £7.8million signing from Auxerre.

Comolli has already been warned by chairman Daniel Levy his future depends on Ramos being a success as manager.

We've already got nearly no CBs, how does that make any sense at all? King will last a fortnight before breaking down again, assuming he even starts a game, and Rocha is no better than Kaboul anyway.

True. The part about pressure building on Damien Comolli is music to my ears.

I read somewhere that they've left Kaboul behind for the trip to Anderlecht, which means they've travelled with only one recognised CB. Which means Zokora will be playing CB again or we'll be playing 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 away from home.

Fuck it, let's go 3-4-3 away from home and take the match to them. I'm not a madman like Ossie and I don't want us to play 4-1-5 like he did, but I'm dying for us to go to a team that isn't as good as us and absolutely murder them on their own patch. COYS!

As reported in the Telegraph:

Tottenham manager Juande Ramos has shown he is ready to be ruthless by leaving Younes Kaboul out of the squad to face Anderlecht in the Uefa Cup tonight. Kaboul has endured a nightmare spell at White Hart Lane following his £7.8 million move from Auxerre during the summer. The France defender has failed to come to terms with the rigours of the English game and has been taken off three times in his last five matches.
He conceded a penalty against Birmingham last Sunday before being replaced by midfielder Tom Huddlestone. Ramos feels the time has come to take him out of the firing line, though Tottenham need at least a point to guarantee qualification for the knockout phase.

With the January transfer window just around the corner, Kaboul must be fearing for his long-term future with the club.

Ramos said: "Kaboul has not travelled. You can have 18 people in your squad, so you make your selections on who is the most suitable for each game. We need to win the tie and the thing we need above everything else is strikers. I don't think Kaboul is depressed. He is a young lad who is very focused and with lots of desire. I'm convinced he is looking forward to playing again and he has the quality to do so. I like attacking football, but it's fundamental they are supported by the defence to get good results. The best form of defence is attack. That's the philosophy we're trying to implement and, hopefully, we'll do it against Anderlecht."

Ramos, though, was quick to distance himself from reports that he was prepared to send Kaboul out on loan.

Ramos has been boosted by the news that club captain Ledley King managed to play his first game of the season for the reserves on Tuesday after spending the last six months on the sidelines with a knee injury and could be back in contention over Christmas.

The Tottenham manager knows that King's experience could prove crucial in helping the north London club challenge for major silverware this season. Tottenham last won the Uefa Cup in 1984 - ironically against Anderlecht - and Ramos has a burning desire to make it three successive triumphs in the competition.

I'm still wondering why we spent 16.8M on Bent but not buying a quality and experienced CB...

Kaboul to Boro in exchange for Woodgate?

http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=521627

Juande Ramos Moves For Woodgate

Juande Ramos is ready to bring Jonathan Woodgate to White Hart lane according to a report in the Daily Telegraph this morning.

That Juande Ramos wishes to make some major corrective changes to the Tottenham defence in January is no secret.

Ledley King's continued injury worries as well as Younes Kaboul's sequence of horrific games seem to have convinced him that at least two defenders need to be brought in this winter.

Various players from Spain have already been linked, with Espanyol's Daniel Jarque supposedly on the top of the list, but latest reports suggest that Boro's Jonathan Woodgate could be the man.

Ramos was supposedly impressed with what he saw of the defender between injuries during his stint with Real Madrid, and believes that fitness concerns apart, he could be a real asset to the team.

Woodgate has had some good games recently, and his aerial and physical presence is just what Tottenham seem to be missing.

However, Middlesbrough - who are still looking to pull away from the relegation battle - seem to be unwilling to let the former Newcastle man go easily.

It is being suggested that Spurs could well let Kaboul go the other way - on loan for the rest of the season - in order to convince bosses at The Riverside.

Woodgate is okay but he's easy to get injury

To be fair Kaboul played much better recently and considering this is his first season in EPL , and not suppose to be a regular first team player when he joined us

He's still can improve a lot.

KING is still a question. Rocha seems out of Ramos's plan

Whtever we make a player exchange we still only hv two center back (Dawson & Woodgate) which is not enough and we need to bring in one more center back

I would prefer to keep Kaboul until the end of the season , it doesn't matter Ramos tick him out of the starting XI when the NEW CB arrive. Atleast we've got a back up especially Zokora will leave us in Janunary even until Feb due to the African Cup
