Official SPURSINHONGKONG v HKSPURS game thread

Everything confirmed.

Date: 23 June 2007
Time 9:30 to 11pm (Please get there by 9pm for the 9:30pm kickoff)
Where: Pitch No 12 (long artificial grass - boots recommended), Happy Valley
Teams: SpursinHongKong (playing in White) v HKSpurs (playing in Navy)
Post match drinks - Al Diner's
Please bring football if you have one.

The pitch is bigger than the usual 7-a-side pitch. I think it is about the size of the HK 7s pitch at HKFC. We can play up to 9 players per team at one time. So I will be aiming to get at least 11 players for each team.

Hung has confirmed the HKSpurs team.

Good meeting some new faces last night. We'll need to do this on a regular basis (at least once a month).

Regarding the football match, I'll distribute the details to my email list as well as directing my list to sign up here. I have about 50 regular Spurs on my list, most based in Hong Kong (some that pass through).

Yeah drinks is a must, as i mentioned earliar perhaps the losing teams buys the first round? Bit of incentive and give the game a bit of edge

I think James said it can be 9-a-side, so ideally we still need a couple of people.

Hung, what's the status with the HKSpurs team? Don't be put off because we have Siberski, Danny Mills and Philip Neville.

You might want to email him on SpursHK, not sure how often he's visiting here.
