| From you said the other HKspurs have +15 players turning up. We're all Spurs fans - worse case scenario I'm sure a little transfer activity in Happy Valley could solve the problem !
This forum is very addictive ! Must press on with work.

| Getting ready for the battle - I'm out beering up on a junk all day before the game - so expect me to be in peak shape by 9:30pm! Suggest we fly out of the blocks, rapidly rack up a cricket score, get the others to concede after about 30 mins and get the beers on! | |

| I'll be in Shenzen on a business meeting in the day (not fair on a Saturday ) I was wondering about getting a LEGITIMATE massage while I was there but have been advised by my HK colleagues against it due to the lack of spoken english in Shenzen. | |

Dannyboy - I don't think there will be any problem for you to go for a legit massage in one of those bigger saunas. The ones I go are big, clean and simply luxurious (5 floors with snooker tables, swimming pools, restuarants, karaoke... you name it!). I can PM one or two to you if you are interested. MAKE SURE YOU COME BACK ON TIME FOR THE BIG MATCH!

| Yes please James PM away. Preferably ones that are not astronomically priced as well, as i've mentioned bit broke. If you could add the address's or better still that'd be great, as i've not been to shenzen before.
of course i'll be back in time!

| Regarding the game on the 21st at Happy Valley ...
I was thinking of emailing my Spurs list to see who's up for playing. However I had a thought. If several of them are up for it, will we have too many players to fit into the 2 teams we have here? If so, should I form a 3rd team?? Something like 'Wanchai Yids'???
There are still quite a few Spurs fans (some who play footie on a regular basis in local leagues here) that are not yet on this forum.
Let me know what you guys think??
Stew. | |

| I reckon a third team isn't a bad idea.
I think, from what i've seen on the board, that most people who played in the original fixture will be available to play...and we had around 12 then. One or two wouldn't hurt but anymore probably is pushing it, especially when we have "Iron Man" Reynolds lasting all 90 minutes.
I'm open to other's opinions though.
On a side note Wanchai Yids?? Damn that'd be like playing against my local club, Tottenham vs Barnet or something. Not in quality more in geographical proximity (when i lived in london).

| our team is cunningly entitled SiHK FC meaning it's a team made up of people who use this site. If others want to play for SiHK FC they can let us know via here. If anyone wants to set up another team then they should sort it aaaaht I played Squash last night Dan, not so much Iron Man more like Sore Man | |

| Maybe I should send an email first and see what the feedback is?? Like I said, I know a lot of Tottenham fans in HK (met over the years). Some are not regular forum users, some are however regular football players and some are simply beer drinkers - like me! My thoughts are also that with a good turnout, it's a chance for a few 'photo ops', so that when one day we possibly put an pllication into THFC for going official, we send em a pic or 2 and say 'have a look at how mighty we are on this side of the planet!' The pics would also be good to post here and on www.spurs.hk etc. Stew. | |

| I'd guage the response to your emails and then take it from there. At the moment there are the Spurs.HK boys, us (SiHK FC) and then your team if and when it gets set up. If anyone of your lot wants to play for us, SiHK FC, they can do if you cannot get the numbers. I'm not sure how much of a career Ezza has left with his dodgy groin, Hairy with his big toe and Danny Boy with his drinking and womanising problems.
We may need reinforcements...

| Sad to see a young lad give up such a promising career due to booze. It's alright Dannyboy - there are plenty of us here to support you.
Three Spurs teams in HK - we can form our own league and celebrate a Spurs side winning a title !

| The pitch on 21st will be a smaller one compared to the one we played last month. If we played with 9 in our last match, we may be looking to play 7 or 8 this time. So with 12 players, there should be 4 or 5 subs which I think are sufficient numbers | |

| How did my name get dragged through the mud so quickly? I blame the tabloids. I've not been womanizing....that much. Also when was this a problem? I've not been drin...ok I can't let that slide. However I plan to detox for at least...ohh 2 or 3 days before the 21/7 game to make sure I'm fighting fit. That and I won't be tackling a few pints directly before the game...probably a good idea. I would actually take a few weeks off and even try some exercise, but lamentably (well not really ) BennyBoy will be here so not drinking is out of the question. Damn. It's a hard life. | |

Your obviously looking at yesterday's paper. Dannyboy gambling addiction is the talk of the town today. Such a shame......so much potential too.
