| 3-1 to 'Boro. Like the players, I'm now officially bored of this season. I'll be out and about tonight, but probably not watching the match unless there's a gathering in a different spot. COYS | |

| Unlikely to make Delaney's - won't know till around kick-off time. Shows how attractive Boro are. Delaneys are the only pub likely to be showing this utterly meaningless game so hopefully a few of us will turn up to support the lads and to support Clare and her staff who support us :-) | |

| Hard to bother with a post match synopsis, but here goes.
Dawson had a decent game today. While Alves made him look like a tortoise for his shot on goal, he was generally good and made several significant blocks and headed clearances. Woodgate and Hutton also did well. They seem to be developing a good understanding. Cerny however, didn't give me much confidence. I'm afraid a top draw keeper is high on our priority shopping list.
Berba and Keane played some good stuff, but went quiet for too long periods in the 2nd half.
Stead, Zok, Lennon (and Thudd) played ok, albeit lacking a competitive edge. Jenas didn't produce anything today. Doubt he'll make it into Capello's list after today's performance.
Can't wait for Bale to get back fully fit. We've missed his natural creativity down the left channel. I'm sure he'll be one hell of a quality addition next season.
COYS!

| Shit match, Dull, totally disorganised second half once they brought Rochemback on.
Plus points were another excellent performance from Hutton, a solid turn by Zokora who let nothing thru the middle and the best performance this season from Dawson.

| How much difference has the performance been in the last couple of matches to those under Jol? Not much I would say.
Signs of brilliance in first half, followed by second half mediocrity, a total lack of guts and skill to turn the match around once the opponents start to up their game regardless of what substitutions are made and the inevitability that we are going to let in a goal or goals.
I dont accept the 'nothing to play for' excuse as the majority of players in the side were playing for the chance to stay for next year. We really need a captain that can get a grip of what is going on and sort out the team when things are not going right. Keano isn't that man.
Also, for me the dury is still out for Ramos. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt at the moment coz the players are not his and I think a lot of players realise they will be replaced.
Final word is if we do have a large clear out of surplus players that are not making the grade, can they also add Comoli to the group. He has been the one responsible for getting in all these average players.
